Projektbeschrieb

The Hadza people (Hadzabe) are one of the last hunter-gatherers peoples in the world, living in an ever-shrinking area next to Lake Eyasi, Tanzania. Their way of life must not differ much from the one of the first Homo Sapiens, who roamed the Earth in that very area, the Rift Valley.
A dozen men and children start the day around the fire, smoking marijuana and chatting, producing click-like sounds as they speak. Before the sun is up, running begins through a maze of thick, thorny bushes. After a few hours and several scratches on their bare skin the only reward is a monkey, whose skull will join the pile arranged on a tree, as some kind of warning.
