Projektbeschrieb

Lebanon, with it's roughly 4.5 million inhabitants, has recorded 1.5 million refugees from Syria. Those refugees live in so called "Informal Tent Settlements" along the Syrian/Lebanese border in the Bekaa-Valley as well as in the Region Akkar. Lebanon does not recognize them as Refugees but tolerates the Settlements. This way the State has the right to shut down the Settlements, after the situation in Syria has deescalated. At daytime male refugees go to town and try to find jobs as day-labourers while women do their household and children play with whatever they get or find. With this everyday routine they are able to keep a small amount of dignity.
