Nepal Aftermath - Portraits of Resilience

Laxmi, 11 y.o. girl, working at home helping her mother in difficult situation, and going to school for only a couple of hours daily.
After the earthquake of april the 25th, the humanitarian situation is extremely serious. Lack of housing, of schools, basic necessities, water and gas. Also the internal situation is unstable as well as relations with India. With UNICEF for the SchweizerFamilie magazine we traveled to collect testimonies of children. The portraits tell of desperate determination, courage, despite uncertainties. Without (auto-) commiseration. ©UNICEF|Reto Albertalli/phovea

Projektbeschrieb

I ritratti ne raccontano disperata determinazione, coraggio malgrado incertezze. Senza commiserazione.
