Projektbeschrieb

At the beginning of this third millennium, the growth of digital technologies has opened new perpectives of exploration and experimentation in imaging. 3D printing is part of these booming technologies that fascinates me especially for its fast development and gradual democratization that might probably revolutionize several sectors of activities in a near future.

What are the limits of such technological process? The possibilities and promises it offers appear to be almost infinite.

But what is the degree of accuracy in 3D printing? How close it is able to replicate the real? And what happens in the event of a failure with the Software or with the printing machine, when the virtual «glitch» of the 3D digital file materializes itself in a physical object in the tangible space?
