Proxemics

The way we interact with others and the organization of space in our houses, buildings and cities is marked by the use of territorial limits, by the human use of space. According to Edward T. Hall, there are four interpersonal distances of man: intimate space, personal space, social space and public space, which affect our behavior, communication and social interactions, and in turn are deeply influenced by cultural norms.
The images presented here help me to reflect about these personal spaces and to question the settings of our own boundaries according to culture and personality. These are also reflections about proximity, body spacing and interactions that we have with other entities.
