The last day of Perla-Mode is a project which documents the last moments of existence of the most known gallery and art space of Kreis 4 in Zürich.
I was invited as a photographer to enter the spaces of the building which normally were closed for the audience to photograph the venue in the last 24 hours before being demolished. The building which had a great influence on the Langstrasse is gone and everything what stayed behind is visible on the photographs which have a special meaning for me, because I was attending and seeing the process of the loss of the place which connected so many different Zürich people and showed a various number of talents. Lurking among the old walls and people trying to save as much as possible of the beloved place I tried to capture the soul of the one of the most remarkable gallery in the city.
